We have participated in many projects in Vietnam since 1996. To expand our business, we are newly setting up a local subsidiary named as “DAEWOO E&C VINA” in Hanoi, Vietnam. So we are now seeking well-qualified candidate for our local subsidiary in Hanoi.
2. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Position title: Site Senior Engineer.
- Duration: 1-year contract with possibility of extension.
- Location: based on Site Office of High-rise Complex Project at Land Lot K8HH1 situated at Centre of Tay Ho Tay New Town, Xuan La ward, Tay Ho district, Hanoi city, Vietnam
- Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the construction of project items;
- Working hours: Day shift or night shift (will be specifically notified during the interview);
- Update and master all relevant design drawings, construction technical, design changes, shop drawings and approved construction methods;
- Master the quality requirements, ensure compliance with the prescribed procedures during the construction process;
- Master the procedures and standards for handover and acceptance documents;
- Supervise and accept the work of the worker team/subcontractor as assigned to ensure technical and quality requirements;
- Perform acceptance of the work under responsibility with the subcontractor and the Consultant Supervisor;
- Check and update the detailed construction progress, daily, weekly and monthly implementation plans to urge subcontractors to perform the construction and promptly report to the Manager, propose solutions for work that is behind schedule;
- Prepare, check and sign quality records, completion reports, confirm the subcontractor’s workload in accordance with the actual construction at the site;
- Coordinate with safety supervisors/specialized personnel to supervise labor safety, environmental sanitation, and fire prevention during the contractor’s construction process according to regulations;
- Participate in meetings with contractors and related units;
- Other duties as required.
- Requirements
- Gender: Male;
- Education: Civil engineering, Industrial engineering degree or equivalent required;
- Experience: 03 years at least at Site Engineer position;
- Candidate who has worked in Vietnam’s top 5 construction companies is prioritized;
- Language: English (Preferrable);
- Proficient in Autocad software and other office software: Excel, Word, Powerpoint… Knowing how to use MS Project software, cost estimation and structural software is an advantage.
